Electroacupuncture (EA) is the application of gentle currents of electricity to the acupuncture needle to give ongoing stimulation during treatment.
EA is similar to T.E.N.S machines used at home by many people to control pain.
EA treatment is used for conditions such as stroke rehabilitation, some sports injury recovery, Bell’s palsy acupuncture, peripheral neuropathy acupuncture, to control pain in sciatica treatment, and for other conditions involving with neural involvement.
Electro-acupuncture is also used in the management of chronic pain for conditions such as rheumatoid or osteoarthritis.
Auricular acupuncture (also known as Ear acupuncture) is the utilization of acupuncture points found on the ear and was developed in France, in the 1950s by Dr. Nogier.
Ear acupuncture is now used worldwide in hospitals and rehabilitation centers for pain management, drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms, and rehab programs. The famous NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) protocol is used to help people quit smoking and recover from opioid abuse.
The NADA protocol is well-researched and taught to many healthcare professionals. Ear acupuncture has also been used on the battlefield in China to control pain for injured soldiers and has useful applications in this area in the clinic as well.

"11/10 would recommend. I went to see Elly for an issue with my knee and not only has she helped immensely with that but she has really helped me out in other aspects as well. You can really feel that she cares about her clients and the work she is doing which i believe makes such a difference in the treatment itself. I always leave feeling great and my knee has gotten so much better."
